Meg and Nate...coming soon

I can't wait for Meg and Nate to come next weekend!  It's going to be so much fun to have people come visit us. Too bad we'll have to sit on the floor, because we have no couch! ( we had to leave it in Maine for now...no room in the truck) Who know's what kind of trouble we'll get in to...I can only imagine!

First Entry

Wow...time goes so fast.  I can't believe we've been in Kansas a month on Thursday (Aug 21st).  It feels like we just left Maine, but it also feels like we've been here a while.  We've been pretty non-stop busy (like always) since we moved here.  Two weekends ago, we went to San Francisco for Tim's graduation from Animationmentor.com.  He's a real, live, official animator now and rocking out at his job!!! (that's why we moved to Kansas...job for Tim)  Our apartment is great.  It's our first apartment together alone (no family around). We miss our friends and family...but we're loving it!

Last weekend we went to see Jack Johnson play at the Sandstone Amp. Theater in Bonner Springs, KS.  We've been wanting to see him forever.  Our wedding song was "Better Together" and it was the last song he sang at the concert.  It was so great to see him so close to our 1st year anniversary!

We went to a T-Bones minor league baseball game Saturday night with 2 of Tim's co-workers.  It was perfect weather and there were fireworks after the game.  It's the first fireworks we've seen this year!  I loved it!!!

I can't believe my brother Dan is getting married on Friday!  He and Lauren make a great couple.  It's going to be fantastic!  

We fly out to Las Vegas Thursday morning and then drive to St. George, UT.  I can't wait to see my family...it's been awhile!
